About OinkWave
Media company, technical bench, honest releases
Who we are, what kinds of work we take on, and the standards we hold for software, production, and documentation—without folding the entire company into a single executable.
Who we are
OinkWave is a media production company with a strong technical bench. We think in terms of audiences, runs, recovery, and honest labeling—whether that’s a live stream, a control-room app on your desk, or reference material you trust when a platform moves a slash command again.
The name is the umbrella: products, experiments, game documentation, creative projects, and internal tools all live under it. We don’t fold the entire company story into a single executable; each thing we ship gets its own space and its own terms.
What we do (categories)
- Operator-grade desktop software — OinkScape on Windows: audio and video queues, web surfaces, timed scenes, TTS, streaming prep, and diagnostics aimed at people who run long sessions, not demo loops.
- Broadcast- and DJ-adjacent workflows — calm scheduling and control surfaces; we care about ducking, handoff, and “what happens when it breaks” as much as feature lists.
- Games and platform knowledge work — deep notes and tooling around Minecraft Bedrock (commands, entities, packs), plus structured hubs for other engines where we invest research time. Lab work ≠ always a store SKU.
- Web presences and personas — e.g. Sir Oinks A Lot and company sites that stay truthful about what’s beta, what’s art, and what’s shipping.
- Creative writing and long-form — selective; we separate “on the record” product work from experimental narrative projects.
- Internal productivity — transcoding, Windows workflow docs, AI/orchestration symbiosis with our own machines—whatever keeps the shop moving without outsourcing judgment.
How we work
- Operator-first: real failure modes, fast recovery, readable UI—not buried expert-only paths for basics.
- Honest releases: betas say beta; legal and data practices live next to the product that uses them.
- Accessibility and inclusion: treated as requirements for UI, voice, and media—not optional polish.
- No bait-and-switch: marketing, store copy, and in-app disclosures match what the build actually does.
- Room to grow: we add catalog entries when there’s something real to point at—not placeholder roadmaps for vibes.
OinkScape in context
OinkScape is our first publicly released product line: a Windows desktop control room for playback, scheduling, web, clips, TTS, and outbound streaming when FFmpeg is in the loop. It’s built with ADA-friendly operation in mind alongside a full DJ-style surface when you need it—same engine, different emphasis per view. Product-specific pages live under /oinkscape/.
Where this site fits
